what is the statute of limitations for collection of parking fines?
i know there’s a certain time limit they have, or they delete it off the books, but i cant seem to find what it is.

I don’t think, there is such a thing for financial matters. Like people, governments don’t like to forfeit cash. Unlike most people, governments have effective and reliable methods of collecting the monies eventually.
For example, Obama remained a scofflaw since 1988, when he ignored parking tickets in Massachusetts. He only paid those off (with penalties, of course), when he ran for president — in 2007.
